NEW ZEALANDS BIG HORN SHEEP
The Arapawa Ram is New Zealands version of the Big Horn Sheep. Introduced, like all of New Zealands animals, they were the first animal to be liberated on our shores. Meat and wool production were the main asset of the sheep, until breeding of better-quality sheep breeds made them redundant. Now, hunters get to enjoy the thrill of chasing the “Wiley” rams. While quite a small animal, with dreadlock type wool and some impressive horns, they are survivors and worthy hunt.
Monarch prides itself on being able to deliver the best outdoor experience, and helping the hunter achieve their goal. Monarch’s guides are all excellent hunters and pride themselves on delivery a top quality hunt.
Our clients have full exclusive use of our stations, to ensure the emphasis on privacy and making your dream hunt come true.
