We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful Kakahu Lodge. Kakahu Lodge is located just outside the quaint country town of Geraldine, in the South Island of New Zealand.
Kakahu Lodge is set against a beautiful backdrop of the most breathtaking mountain views Geraldine has to offer. The lodge offers space, privacy, and a slice of country life.
Before you step inside this substantial architecturally designed lodge, you will be welcomed by the menagerie of birdlife that thrive amongst the surrounding native plantings.
The property has been landscaped over the years with maximum enjoyment front of mind. With a beautiful infinity front lawn, outdoor pizza oven and 15m pool, complete with an outdoor playground.
Guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the myriad of tracks onsite or simply relax by a cosy fire with a fine wine in the evening.

I went to Monarch not knowing what to expect From stepping off the airplane I was meet with warmth and after arriving at the lodge it was like a homecoming. The team made hunting an incredible experience. Taking a SCI ranked stag was astounding.
I have been twice and am planning a return trip and staying longer to explore New Zealand

My experience with the Team at Monarch Pursuits was exceptional. I am a 64 year old female and have a couple of health issues. Luke took exceptional care to insure that I was successful in my hunt. The Gunwerks rifle they provided performed flawlessly.
I was so thrilled to be able to do this epic adventure at my age. The lodging was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The food could not have been better. Not to mention the superb New Zealand wines. So guess what. We are going back next year!
