RED STAG & KAIKOURA WHALE WATCHING TOUR
After an exillerating 3 days of hunting, take in some more of what New Zealand has to offer with a few days at the coastal resort of Kaikoura where you can kayak with seals or view whales from the sky.

HUNTING & WHALE WATCHING TOUR
Days 1 – 2
Upon arrival into Christchurch, your Monarch guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to The Britten Stables, your accommodation for the night.In the centre of Christchurch and originally the horse stables for the Mona Vale Gardens it was here that John Britten designed and built his world-record setting Britten V1000 motorcycle.
Day 2 – 5
You will take breakfast at the B&B before collecting your hire care and taking a 90 minute drive the hunt station. A normal hunting day will start with an early breakfast before heading in to the hills early in search of your stag. You will hunt in to the late afternoon. After three nights hunting the last morning will be spent maybe sorting out taxidermy if you have not already done this.
Day 5 – 8
After lunch you will self-drive to the coastal town of Kaikoura to stay in the beautifully restored Kaikoura Boutique Hotel. You will have plenty of time to relax at your leisure, explore the artisan shops of Kaikoura Village, visit the large sea lion colony, hunt out the little blue penguins or take a short hike on one of the inland bush trails. You may wish to spend half a day on a whale watching tour. One of our most popular excursions is to view the whales from a small plane flight giving a unique close up view of the entire whale, nose to tail!
Days 8
This short trip has introduced you to some of the great outdoors of New Zealand as well as a glimpse at some of the amazing hunting on offer here. Plus you will be walking away with a tremendous trophy and hunting stories to share. Your last day concludes with a drive back to Christchurch airport to connect with your flight back home.
